Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG – How to beat the Mirror Maiden Tavern Challenge guide
To complete Mirror Maiden’s Journey or the Mirror Maiden Tavern Challenge in Genshin Impact‘s Genius Invokation TCG, you’ll want to remember the ideal decks/team comps. In my experience, the starter trio of Kaeya, Sucrose, and Diluc was more than enough, though you can change things up if you wish. Just take note that you’ll be up against two Mirror Maiden cards, both of which have +10 HP.
The boss has two important abilities that you’ll want to consider:
-
- Influx Blast and Refraction – The skill does +3 damage, but whoever it hits will get the Refraction buff (+1 additional Hydro damage for two rounds).
- Rippled Reflection – While it only does +5 damage, the extra point from Refraction could spell the difference between survival or a KO.
As usual, a Kaeya-centric deck will follow this sequence: 2x skill -> burst -> swap to Sucrose (preferably with the effects from When the Crane Returned, Leave it to Me, Changing Shifts, and others). From there, Sucrose’s skill reapplies Cryo and damages both mobs. But, once an opponent has +2 Energy, that’s the time you switch to Diluc (or whoever your third character is). Otherwise, your foe’s burst could leave a character with but a sliver of HP remaining.
With a bit of luck, you should be able to complete the Mirror Maiden Tavern Challenge in Genshin Impact‘s Genius Invokation TCG. Your reward, the Mirror Maiden card, has the following effects:
- Normal Attack: Water Ball (1 Hydro/2 any) – Deals +1 Hydro damage.
- Skill: Influx Blast (3 Hydro) – Deals +3 Hydro damage; applies Refraction.
- Debuff: Refraction – Take +1 additional Hydro damage when hit.
- Burst: Rippled Reflection (3 Hydro/2 Energy) – Deals +5 Hydro damage.
Apart from emerging victorious and winning in less than five rounds, you’ll also want to avoid losing a single character. This nets extra cards like Mirror Cage (4 Hydro), which can only be used by the Mirror Maiden if she’s the active character:
- Immediately use Influx Blast once.
- +1 round duration for Refraction.
- +1 dice cost if a target affected by Refraction switches to someone else.
