Day 1: Falcon Coast and Lingju Pass
If you open the event details panel, you’ll see where you’ll need to go (Falcon Coast just east of Windrise).
Location #1: Falcon Coast
Once you’ve reached the islands off Falcon Coast, activate your Treasure-Hunting Seelie companion (default “Z” key). It’ll spawn next to your character.
Now, the event description does you to look at your companion’s color because it’ll flash brighter when a hidden treasure is near. However, I would suggest listening to the sound effect instead. You’ll hear a constant beeping noise if ever you’re close to a spot.
Note: If you enter combat, the Treasure-Seeking Seelie will disappear, so try to eliminate the enemies you encounter. It’ll respawn once hostiles have been taken out.
As for the treasures themselves, these are denoted by a beam of light. By pressing “F,” you’ll dig for them and earn a smattering of iron coins. Sometimes you’ll get only four, and sometimes you’ll get 20.
The goal is to look for all the iron coins in a location so that the next one is unlocked.
Location #2: Lingju Pass
After grabbing all the iron coins in Falcon Coast, head to Lingju Pass which is at the southwestern section of Genshin Impact‘s world map. As usual, activate the Treasure-Seeking Seelie once you’ve reached the area. In my case, I found most of the iron coins outside the ruined temple area itself.
At the moment, I’m still unsure if the placements of these treasures/iron coins are randomized or fixed. Plus, considering that it’s only the first day of Genshin Impact‘s Lost Riches event, the spots were easy to find. As such, I’ve refrained from marking them on the map. In any case, let’s talk about the rewards you can obtain.
