Genshin Impact guide: All Inazuma domains, artifacts, and materials

Time to delve into these dungeons.

Unlocking the Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates

Recommended Videos

The Empty Boat of a Thousand Gates is a regular dungeon in Inazuma.

It’s located northeast of Araumi or directly north of the Court of Flowing Sand. However, you’ll notice that there’s no landmass in the area. That’s because this dungeon is actually under the sea.

To unlock it, you’ll need to start a lengthy quest chain known as the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual. The second portion of this quest has an NPC that rewards you with the Memento Lens gadget. The gadget is very important since it allows you to unlock a seal in the Araumi area.

In this portion of the quest, you’ll have to delve deeper to complete a ritual and several puzzles. The passageway will lead you to an underwater teleporter and, further ahead, you’ll reach a spot above the chamber where you’d normally fight the Perpetual Mechanical Array.

Nearby are two floor puzzles. The idea is to step on all the floor panels without standing on the same one or jumping. Once you’ve completed these two puzzles, the doorway to the dungeon will emerge.
