Genshin Impact: Inazuma Archon Quest guide (Act I)

Yoimiya and the Prison Breakout

Ayaka tells you to go to the fireworks shop in Inazuma City. Upon arrival, you’ll find several guards.

Thankfully, Yoimiya, a 5-star character who’ll become available after Ayaka’s wish banner ends, will introduce herself.

Your goal now is to rescue a prisoner, one of Ayaka’s allies. Go to the marked area on the map which has an entrance to the prison domain.

There are several fights here against guards and samurai. There are also a few notable mechanics such as glowing armor stands which you can interact with to remove the defensive buff of enemies.

Likewise, you’ll find altars with a purple glow. These have amulet orbs and you need three to open the final door.

In the final chamber, you’ll discover the prisoner. Yoimiya will use her fireworks in a cutscene to distract the guards. The group will attempt to escape, but Kujou Sara, one of the Raiden Shogun’s enforcers, appears. She does let everyone off the hook.

Open the treasure chest and exit the dungeon to complete this part.

When you’re done, return to Komore Teahouse. There, the Traveler will enjoy a meal with Ayaka and Thoma. The two promise to continue their fight against the Raiden Shogun. This concludes Act I of Genshin Impact’s “The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia” Archon Quest. Additional quests will get unlocked:

• “Grus Nivis Act I: The Whispers of the Crane and the White Rabbit” (Ayaka’s story quest) – Available upon completing this part.
• “Carassius Auratus Act I: Dreamlike Timelessness” (Yoimiya’s story quest) – Available once you finish Ayaka’s quest.
• “Stillness, the Sublimation of Shadow” (Act II Archon Quest) – Available after completing Ayaka’s and Yoimiya’s story quests.
