Genshin Impact guide: All mural locations in the Golden Apple Archipelago

What exactly happened to these seafarers?

The Golden Apple Archipelago presents many wonders now that we’ve reached the second act. One particular secret pertains to murals that are hidden all over the region as part of a sidequest called “The Other Side of Isle and Sea.” Here’s our guide to help you find all the mural locations in the Golden Apple Archipelago region of Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact: The Other Side of Isle and Sea sidequest guide – All five mural locations

You’ll receive “The Other Side of Isle and Sea” as soon as you discover your first mural. Paimon will tell you to take a photo of the mural, so use the regular photo mode (not the Kamera gadget). You’ll get a photograph of that mural as a quest item. In any case, let’s talk about the five mural locations in Genshin Impact‘s Golden Apple Archipelago.

Minacious Isle

This one is at the eastern portion of the landmass to the left of the large rock formation.

Broken Isle

From the fast travel point, jump down to the southwestern section of the rock formation. There’s a Painted Ground/Painted Wall minigame here. Throw the Harpastum gadget using “E,” then, once it’s bouncing back toward your character, press left-click to smack it back at the wall.

Once the wall breaks, you’ll battle a few mobs. You’ll see the mural inside the small cavern. Oh, and this is also part of the water pillar puzzle in the Broken Isle area.

Twinning Isle (south)

The large landmass directly south of Twinning Isle also has a mural. Simply go down below to find a small passageway between the rock formations.

Twinning Isle (west)

From Twinning Isle, glide to the island to the west. There’s a mural in the northern section of this area near the beach.

Nameless Islet

The furthest one is all the way at the northeastern tip of the Golden Apple Archipelago region. You’ll have to sail from Twinning Isle between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to reach a small island that’s usually covered in mists.

From that small island (which happens to have an Echoing Conch), follow the water currents until you reach the Nameless Islet. You can read our secret island guide if you need more details.

Once you’re done, go to the Knights of Favonius library in Mondstadt and speak to a researcher named Sayid. He’ll tell you about the fates of these seafarers from Inazuma.

This completes Genshin Impact‘s “The Other Side of Isle and Sea” sidequest.
