Floral Freefall Festive Challenge: Basic mechanics
Anyway, for the Floral Freefall Festive Challenge in Genshin Impact, you’ll want to head to the marked location in Falcon Coast. It’s the only one that’s available today.
So, what can you expect from the Floral Freefall mini-game in Genshin Impact‘s Windblume Festival? Well, as the name implies, you’ll be dropping down from a great height. From there, you’ll have to glide side to side, sometimes speeding up your drop, too, all while collecting the floating flowers.
The flowers your character touches will award you with points:
- Fluorescent Flowerball (green) – 35 points.
- Honey-Petal Crowns (orange) – 200 points.
- Finish Line Garland (rainbow) – 400 points.
Note: Each Floral Freefall run has a time limit of two minutes and 30 seconds. But, if you manage to reach the finish line, every second that remains on the clock grants you 10 points.
For the Falcon Coast location, there are unique floating balls called Dusty Balloons. These brown clumps of dirt will cover your HUD in case you bump into them, so watch out.
Anyway, the task is fairly straightforward, so try to grab as many floating flowers as you can. Prioritize the orange ones if you see them and, once you’re near the end, make sure you touch the Finish Line Garland since it tends to move around a bit.
Falcon Coast rewards
Upon finishing your run, all the flowers your character touched, as well as the remaining time, will be added to your total count. These are the Floral Freefall high scores and tiers you want to reach and their particular rewards:
- Kaeya (1,000 points) – 30x Primogems and 100x Festive Tour Tickets.
- Fischl (2,000 points) – 2x Hero’s Wit and 100x Festive Tour Tickets.
- Amber (3,000 points) – 20,000 mora/gold.
Note: The characters are just the names of tiers/score thresholds. You’re not required to use them while completing the mini-game.
All right, this is all we have for now regarding the Floral Freefall challenge in Genshin Impact‘s Windblume Festival. The next stages are bound to have some unique mechanics or obstacles, so I’ll be updating the guide accordingly.
