Genshin Impact Moonlight Merriment Festive Fever Feat

Genshin Impact: How to earn Moonlight Merriment Festive Fever

Things are heating up.

Remember the Lantern Rite Tales event back in February? That had a mechanic known as Festive Fever, a gauge that could be increased when you completed certain sidequests. Now, the new Moonlight Merriment has its own ways of getting these boosts. Here’s our Genshin Impact guide to help you earn Festive Fever for the Moonlight Merriment event.

Genshin Impact: How to earn Festive Fever for the Moonlight Merriment event

The Moonlight Merriment in Genshin Impact doesn’t seem like it requires you to do a dozen sidequests just to gain more Festive Fever. Instead, these points are simply acquired as you complete various challenges and tasks.

To clarify, we’re currently at the Path of the Stalwart Stone stage (i.e., Part 1). This stage has activities such as the Moonchase Tales (cooking with the Cloud Retainer), Moonlight Seeker (finding chests and charms), and Trail of Delicacies (battling multiple enemies).

The Moonchase Tales event doesn’t grant you Festive Fever. But, if you look at the Moonlight Seeker and Trail of Delicacies panel, you’ll see what you need:

  • Moonlight Seeker – Continue opening Mystmoon Chests and Moonchase Charms in the area (i.e., Huaguang Stone Forest). Each 25% threshold in the progress bar nets you 50 Festive Fever for a maximum of 200 points.
  • Trail of Delicacies – There are six challenges that give you Festive Fever once they’re completed for a total of 350 points.

During this particular stage, you can have 550 points. The maximum that you need to acquire is 1,000 Festive Fever to unlock Part 2 of the Moonlight Merriment event. As of now, we still don’t know if the additional stages will provide the same number of points or if things will be changed. We’ll find out in the coming days, so stay tuned.
