Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG – How to beat the Fatui Pyro Agent Tavern Challenge guide

To complete Agent’s Test or the Fatui Pyro Agent Tavern Challenge in Genshin Impact‘s Genius Invokation TCG, you’ll want to keep track of the ideal decks/team comps. In my case, I simply went with the starter trio comprised of Kaeya, Sucrose, and Diluc. Bear in mind, though, that you’ll be up against two Fatui Agent cards, each with +10 HP.

Your foe has a couple of perks that you’ll want to be wary of:

    • Stealth – A stealthed card takes -1 less damage and deals +1 damage.
    • Blade Ablaze – While this should only deal +5 damage, the bonus from Stealth will ensure that it hits for +6 points instead.

If you’re using Kaeya, then you know the drill by now: pop your skill twice, then cast his burst. Follow it up by quick-swapping to Sucrose, preferably while under the effects of When the Crane Returned, Leave it to Me, Changing Shifts, and the like. The projectile from the burst should still affect the other target, whereupon a Swirl from Sucrose swaps and reapplies Cryo once more.

Still, the key factor is when you see that an opponent has +2 Energy. That means a burst will be cast soon, and you’d have to switch to someone with a lot of HP left. Let them soak the hit, swap, and continue your sequence as necessary.

With a bit of luck, you should be able to complete the Fatui Pyro Agent Tavern Challenge in Genshin Impact‘s Genius Invokation TCG. Your reward, the Fatui Pyro Agent card, has the following effects:

  • Passive: Stealth Master – Gain Stealth when the battle begins.
    • Buff: Stealth – Take -1 damage and deal +1 extra damage.
  • Normal Attack: Thrust (1 Pyro/2 any) – Deals +2 Physical damage.
  • Skill: Prowl (3 Pyro) – Deals +1 Pyro damage; character gain’s Stealth.
  • Burst: Blade Ablaze (3 Pyro/2 Energy) – Deals +5 Pyro damage.

Apart from emerging victorious and winning in less than five rounds, you’ll also want to achieve success with less than two of your characters getting KO’d. This nets extra cards like Paid in Full (3 Pyro), which can only be used by the Fatui Pyro Agent if he’s the active character:

  • Immediately use Prowl once.
  • If the character has Stealth, the Physical damage will be converted into Pyro damage; +1 usage.
