The Electro Regisvine is a boss that’s been added as part of Genshin Impact‘s version 3.0 update. It’s not a particularly challenging fight, even though the encounter has some additional mechanics compared to other foes of a similar type. Here’s our Genshin Impact Electro Regisvine guide to help you with the battle, as well as the Thunderclap Fruitcore that it drops.

Genshin Impact guide – Electro Regisvine and Thunderclap Fruitcore
Where to find the Electro Regisvine
To find the Electro Regisvine in Genshin Impact, you’ll need to make your way to the northeastern section of Sumeru, an area called Mawtiyima Forest. Follow the base of the mountain until you see a cavern to the south. It will loop around, taking you to an underground area where the boss resides. You can also bypass it so you can tag the fast travel point in the tunnel beyond.
How to beat the Electro Regisvine
The Electro Regisvine has your usual attacks (i.e., flailing its head in an attempt to hit you or firing some projectiles your way). But, there are also some new mechanics:
- Core Switch – You’ll want to damage the core to stun the boss and cause it to take increased damage. However, this foe’s core does change positions (i.e., roots and tip).
- Stamen Orb – From time to time, it will summon a stamen, which looks like a glowing orb. This object can be destroyed by using elemental reactions.
- Annihilation Blast – If you’re unable to destroy the stamen and another one spawns, the two will move toward each other. When this happens, a massive AoE blasts will rip through the entire arena, dealing high damage and likely killing an active character.
Anyway, the usual tactics apply, such as destroying its core and nuking it once it’s down. Defeating the Electro Regisvine in Genshin Impact nets you the following:
- Thunderclap Fruitcore – This is a recently added ascension material. There’s no use for it yet since there’s no new Electro character at the moment. Still, you might want to farm a few now in case you plan on pulling Cyno or Dori.
- Vajrada Amethyst – An ascension material for Electro characters. You can use the Alchemy Table to convert other gems that you don’t need into this.
