To start the Dirge of Bilqis quest, you must have completed the aforementioned Golden Slumber arc. That story concluded with Jebrael’s sacrifice, leaving Jeht alone and causing her to begin a life of a wanderer.

Now, assuming you meet the requirements, make your way to the Desert of Hadramaveth. Tag the Statue of the Seven to reveal the entire region, making you realize that you’re in Tanit Camps. If you approach the camp, there will be a short scene where some scouts ask where you’re going. This unlocks the Dirge of Bilqis quest chain in Genshin Impact. The first part, Wisdom Has Built Her House, She Has Hewn Out Her Seven Pillars is already quite a mouthful.

Sufficed to say, your goal here is to talk to various NPCs and, eventually, you’ll have to speak with the leader of the Tanit Tribe, Matriarch Babel. Jeht will also show up, surprised by your arrival.

You’ll just go to marked locations to feed crocodiles, talking to more NPCs as you go along. Shortly thereafter, Jeht will introduce you to her pal, Azariq, who’s in front of the Safhe Shatranj temple.
