Let’s face it. There comes a time while you’re playing a grindy game when you simply wish to take a step back and relax. Your schedule might simply revolve around the daily reset while trying to maximize possible rewards. Well, here’s our Genshin Impact daily activities guide to help you out.

Genshin Impact: The daily reset and daily activities schedule
Just to be clear, you’re free to do whatever you want in Genshin Impact. The world of Teyvat is grand and vast, and you could find yourself easily lost in it whether you’re leveling your characters or tackling the Spiral Abyss dungeon.
In my case, however, I found that I was trying to juggle too many responsibilities that Genshin Impact had to take a backseat after a while. As such, I settled on a more comfortable routine.
First, let’s take note of the daily reset. It’s always at 4 a.m. in a specific timezone in your chosen region:
- North America server – 4 a.m. at GMT-5.
- Europe server – 4 a.m. at GMT+1.
- Asia server – 4 a.m. at GMT+8.
Given that I’m from the Philippines (GMT+8), I made sure to adapt accordingly. Likewise, I based it on the objectives from the Battle Pass because the daily missions themselves offered a decent outline.
Daily Commissions
Many of these are quite easy. Some involve an errand from an NPC; most others will simply have you destroying towers or defeating half a dozen enemies.
You only need to complete four and then you’re done. Pick up your reward at the Adventurer’s Guild to see a boost to your Adventure Rank EXP too.
Daily Mining Expeditions
Before the daily reset even happens, I made sure I had a couple of characters mining resources in expeditions (also from the Adventurer’s Guild). I only pick up the ores after each daily reset because they count as “10 mined items” already.
Ley Line Outcrops and Elites
Lastly, I try to complete several Ley Line Outcrop or elite encounters. Ley Line Outcrops are quickly finished — again, it’s just “kill X number of enemies” followed by a reward.
Most notably, you gain 100 Adventure Rank EXP each outcrop. This activity is an easy way to increase your Adventure Rank everyday.
As for the elite monsters, I usually just go for Electro Hypostasis. It’s a fairly easy battle since the elite’s attacks are predictable, and you could get some nifty items.
If I’m able to do several Ley Line/elite runs in the morning, and then a couple more in the evening once I get back home, that ensures I can finish the “150 Original Resin used” requirement.
Lastly, there’s a gap of several hours in between my gaming runs. That means my Original Resin replenishes normally instead of having to use Fragile Resins or Primogems.
