It's just a prank, bro!

Nothing Gained

During the initial dialogue sequence with Chongyun, don’t tell him that the clues are farfetched. He’ll ask you to travel with him to Wuwang Hill.

For this particular ending, you’ll have a branching point almost immediately once you speak to the old man at Wuwang Hill since he’ll offer the two of you a drink:

  • “Let’s both drink it. If you lose control, I’ll be sure to take care of you.”
  • “Just let me drink it alone.”

Note: For now, choose to have Chongyun take a drink. The other option, and certain choices I’ll cite, will lead to different branching paths and endings.

Go to the marker and you’ll find two boyfriend-girlfriend couples and a strange mist. Talk to the couples and examine the strange mist.

Because of the drink, Chongyun will feel slightly woozy. Reply with: “Sure, just have a rest. I’ll continue investigating on my own.”

Next, move to the marker and talk to the man pretending to be a ghost. Then, you’ll be presented with various dialogue options. Sadly, Chongyun will still feel a bit sick which leads to the “Nothing Gained” ending.

Anyway, in the final section of our guide, we’ll discuss the branching points and remaining endings.
