Idle Amusements and Can’t Beat This Heat

During the initial dialogue sequence with Chongyun, tell him that the clues are farfetched. He’ll be shocked, and you’ll both notice a kid staring at you. While talking to the kid, choose to give him two popsicles.

Rather than going out looking for demons, Chongyun will instead be interested in making popsicles. Meet him in front of Wanmin Restaurant and he’ll ask you which ingredients are best to use. You’ll also need to provide him with these ingredients.

Here are the results:

• Jueyun Chili and Slime Condensate – This will net you the “Can’t Beat This Heat” ending immediately after Chongyun eats the popsicle. Looks like this Cryo character can’t handle spicy food.
• Mist Flower and Qingxin – This gives you a branching point called “A Cooling Mix.”
• Sunsettia and Valberries – This gives you a branching point called “A Sweet Mix.”

Note: Both “A Cooling Mix” and “A Sweet Mix” lead to the “Idle Amusements” ending.

Hide-and-seek locations

If you chose the Mist Flower/Qingxin or Sunsettia/Valberry options, you’ll be asked to give the popsicles to the little boy and his sister. This is followed by the two kids asking you and Chongyun to play hide-and-seek.

After you’ve found all three hidden people, you’ll obtain Chongyun’s “Idle Amusements” ending.
