Bullseye Balloon Festive Challenge: Basic mechanics
Lizzie will provide the location of the Tower Waltz stage at the northeastern tip of Stormbearer Point. Make your way there to start the activity.
Okay, as for the mechanics, you’ll want to pick a character who wields a bow since only normal and charged attacks can hit the targets.
Regarding the targets themselves, there are four kinds of balloons:
- Bloom Balloon (green) – Gives a small number of points.
- Bouquet Balloon (orange) – Gives a large number of points.
- Celebration Balloon (orange stuff toy) – Does an AoE explosion, destroying all nearby balloons.
- Heartbreak Balloon (red stuff toy) – Deducts a certain number of points when hit.
You’ve got two minutes to get as many points as possible. The idea, of course, is to prioritize Bouquet Balloons (when they’re up), and Bloom Balloons (which are more plentiful). Do watch out for Celebration Balloons as well since there will often be other balloon types near one. Naturally, you’ll want to avoid the Heartbreak Balloons since you can lose up to 50 points whenever one is struck.
Note 1: When you successfully hit your targets (no misses and no point deductions), you’ll earn a combo streak. The higher it gets, the more points you’re awarded.
Note 2: Although you can have any bow-wielding character doing this, I personally suggest using Ganyu if you have her due to her explosive aimed shots. Just try to avoid shooting at clusters when they’re near a Heartbreak Balloon.
Tower Waltz rewards
So, how exactly are you judged after the end of your run? Well, you’ll notice that there are rewards based on the Bullseye Balloons high score threshold or tier that you reach:
For the Tower Waltz stage, you’ll see the following:
- Mona (1,000 points) – 30x Primogems and 100x Festive Tour Tickets.
- Jean (1,800 points) – 2x Hero’s Wit and 100x Festive Tour Tickets.
- Venti (2,600 points) – 20,000 gold.
Note: The characters are just the names of tiers/score thresholds. You’re not required to use them while completing the mini-game.
In any case, once you’ve obtained a high score in the Tower Waltz stage, don’t forget to check your Battle Pass since you can earn Battle Pass EXP based on the tally. Anyway, this is all we have for now in the Bullseye Balloon Festive Challenge in Genshin Impact‘s Windblume Festival. We might see some changes in the coming days once the other stages are live, so I’ll be updating this guide as well.
