Neuvillette is a Hydro DPS character with a unique charged attack mechanic. This character’s main source of DPS will be his charged attack, where he can create a huge torrent of water and blast it at enemies in his way. While he can move in this state, he’s still quite vulnerable. Additionally, Neuvillette has an HP drain mechanic, meaning he will lose HP even though he doesn’t take damage. Protecting Neuvillette and pairing him with characters that can amplify his damgae will be important for his success. Here are some of the best teams for Neuvillette in Genshin Impact:

  • Neuvillette + Zhongli + Fischl + Nahida: This team will allow Neuvillette to create Bloom cores, which will then trigger the Hyperbloom reaction with Fischl. Neuvillette’s Hydro application is strong, thanks to his charged attack, and Nahida is sufficient in Dendro application as well. Hyperbloom is one of the strongest reactions in the game, and Neuvillette is a great character for facilitating this reaction. Zhongli will help protect Neuvillette with his shields, but if you feel like you need more healing, you can use Kuki Shinobu instead of Fischl.
  • Neuvillette + Fischl + Beidou + Kazuha: This taser team will allow you to trigger the Electro-Charged reaction. Beidou and Fischl are strong sub-DPS characters that will synergize well with Neuvillette. Kazuha is an Anemo character that can lower enemy resistances with the Viridescent Venerer set, as well as boost damage for his team. You can use any Anemo user here, however, such as Sucrose or Venti.
  • Neuvillette + Ganyu + Layla + Kazuha: This is a freeze team variant for Neuvillette. Neuvillette will be able to proc freeze quite effectively, thanks to his high Hydro application.
