Genshin Impact: Beidou best team comps guide

Greased lightning.

Genshin Impact has a large roster of characters, each working with others in various ways. With each character fulfilling a new and different niche, there are naturally some characters who work better together with others. Some characters are designed to deal the brunt of your team’s damage, while others support them from the backline. Beidou is an Electro character who deals off-field damage with her Elemental Burst when she or an ally performs a Normal Attack or Charged Attack. With the off-field Electro DMG, Beidou is perfect to slot into a Hydro Electro-charged team or Dendro Aggravate team. Here’s our Genshin Impact guide to the best Beidou team comps.

Beidou is a 4-star Claymore character, available to summon on most Character Event Wish, Weapon Event Wish, and Standard Banners. Beidou occasionally will be featured on the Character Event Wish banner as a rate-up character, meaning you’ll have a higher chance to summon her. Beidou was always a strong unit, but the introduction of Dendro characters has upgraded most Electro characters to the next level. To best take advantage of Beidou’s strengths, consider pairing her with these characters.

Beidou is an Electro DMG dealer, but functions from the backline of your team. After using her Elemental Burst, you can swap off of Beidou to another character, and her Elemental Burst will continue to do work. Beidou is able to be used in a variety of different teams. Here are some of her best ones:

  • Beidou / Fischl / Xingqiu or Yelan / Sucrose: This team is commonly referred to as a “taser” team by the community. Fischl and Beidou provide tons of Electro DMG and Electro application while Xingqiu or Yelan is in the back dealing Hydro DMG. The Hydro and Electro elements mix together and create an Electro-Charged reaction, which supercharges your team’s damage. Sucrose is known as a “driver,” dealing Anemo damage with her Normal Attacks. She attacks quickly, which benefits both Beidou and Xingqiu, and she also can Swirl and reduces elemental resistances from enemy targets.
  • Beidou / Fischl / Nahida / Dendro Traveler or another Dendro character: Thanks to the introduction of Dendro, Electro has received a strong reaction in the form of Aggravate. Dendro and Electro characters can deal an obscene amount of damage when working together, thanks to Aggravate. Beidou is here to provide some defensive utility, Electro application, and off-field damage with her Elemental Burst.
  • Beidou / Fischl / Xingqiu / Nahida: This is another Dendro-based team, but with a Hydro character added to the mix. When this happens, you’ll get the Hyperbloom reaction. When the Hydro and Dendro elements react together, they create a “Bloom” core. When these cores are infused with Electro energy, they will quickly detonate and deal high, focused damage to a single target. Hyperbloom is currently one of the strongest reactions in the game, and Beidou is a great unit for it.
