A Fiery Flavor From Liyue

At the “Deaconess’ Gratitude” branching point, Barbara will ask you what you want to drink.

Tell her you want to “try her special Chilibrew.” Then, for the next option, say that you “want to split up.”

You’ll be tasked with going to the plateau above Stone Gate. The marked location here has 6x Jueyun Chili.

After you’ve grabbed them all, go to the path leading to the Whispering Woods. Paimon will yell Barbara’s name, but keep moving along until you spot her near the clearing.

Talk to Barbara and she’ll warn you about the treasure hoarders. It’s time to get ready for a fight against three waves of these baddies.

After the bout, the merchant will give you a reward. Tell her that you want the Chilibrew. The Traveler and Barbara will have a sip which gives you an ending called “A Fiery Flavor from Liyue.”

Note: If you choose mora as a reward, you’ll fail the Hangout Event. You’ll need to restart from the part where you’re searching for Barbara prior to the encounter with the treasure hoarders. Alternatively, you can ask for sweet flower instead.

The Taste of Hard Work

If you choose the sweet flower as a reward, Barbara will be able to brew her special Chilibrew drink. Meet up with her in the garden near the Knights of Favonius headquarters. You’ll obtain “The Taste of Hard Work,” another ending for Barbara’s Hangout Event in Genshin Impact.
