Wassup, bro?

Character ascension materials

Recommended Videos

Ayato’s character ascension materials can be found all over Teyvat.

Here they are:

  • Handguards – Dropped by Nobushi Samurai in Inazuma.
  • Varunada Lazurite – Dropped by the Oceanid and Hydro Hypostasis; purchased from Souvenir Shop; higher-tier versions can be crafted by an alchemist NPC.
  • Dew of Repudiation – Dropped by the Hydro Hypostasis. We suggest farming this elite boss instead of the Oceanid since it provides two ascension materials for Kamisato Ayato.
  • Sakura Bloom – Similar to his sister, Kamisato Ayato also uses these flowers. You can refer to our Sakura Bloom farming guide for its locations.

Note: Ayato’s character ascension will also increase his crit damage (up to 88.4% after ascending him past level 80).

In any case, let’s talk about what you can expect when Ayato is part of your Genshin Impact team.
