Genshin Impact‘s Artifacts all belong to a particular set. Each one provides players with unique set bonuses.

 

At the start of Genshin Impact‘s campaign, you’ll likely have access to only a few of these coming from quest rewards or monster drops. This is why I mentioned in our beginner’s guide how the Adventurer and Lucky Dog sets remain beneficial during the early-game experience.

Later, though, you’ll obtain more Artifacts from higher-tiered sets and rarities. Many of these will come from the following activities, so try to check the possible rewards on your map too:

Note: The rarity of your drops in Genshin Impact is tied to the World Level. This is further increased as you ascend your Adventure Rank.

Artifact Set 2-Piece Set Bonus 4-Piece Set Bonus Notes
Adventurer +1,000 max HP increase Opening a chest regenerates 30% max HP over 5 seconds. Maxes out at 3-star rarity (blue)
Lucky Dog +100 DEF +300 HP when you pick up mora (gold).
Traveling Doctor +20% incoming healing Restore 20% of your HP when you use an Elemental Burst.
Berserker +12% crit rate When HP is below 70%, crit rate increases by 24%. Maxes out at 4-star rarity (purple)
Instructor +80 Elemental Mastery After using an Elemental Skill (that procs an elemental reaction), increase all party members’ Elemental Mastery by 120 for 8 seconds.
The Exile +20% energy recharge rate Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 2 energy for other party members (every 2 seconds for 6 seconds).
Resolution of Sojourner +18% ATK +30% charged attack crit rate
Martial Artist +15% damage for your normal attack and charged attack After using an Elemental Skill, increase normal and charged attack damage by 25% for 8 seconds.
Tiny Miracle +20% elemental resistance (all elements) Incoming elemental damage increases corresponding elemental resistance by 30% for 10 seconds.
Scholar +20% energy recharge rate Gaining energy gives 3 energy to all party members who have a bow or catalyst equipped.
Gambler +20% elemental skill damage Defeating an enemy has a 100% chance to remove the Elemental Skill cooldown; occurs once every 15 seconds.
Heart of Bravery +18% ATK +30% damage against enemies with more than 50% HP.
Defender’s Will +30% base DEF +30% elemental resistance for each different elemental type that’s present in your party.
Gladiator’s Finale +18% ATK +35% normal attack damage if the user has a sword, claymore, or polearm equipped. Maxes out at 5-star rarity (orange); drops from various high-end activities mentioned above in conjunction with higher World Levels.
Wanderer’s Troupe +80 Elemental Mastery +35% charged attack damage if a character is using a bow or catalyst.
Maiden Beloved +15% healing effectiveness Using an Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst increases healing received by all party members by 20% for 10 seconds.
Bloodstained Chivalry +25% physical damage +50% charged attack damage and reduced stamina cost for your charged attack after defeating an opponent.
Noblesse Oblige +20% elemental burst damage Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12 seconds.
Crimson Witch of Flames +15% Pyro damage bonus +40% Overload and Burning damage; +15% Vaporize and Melt damage; using an Elemental Skill boosts 2-piece set bonus’ effects by 50% for 10 seconds (max 3 stacks). Maxes out at 5-star rarity (orange); drops from Domains.
Lavawalker +40% Pyro resistance +35% damage vs. enemies affected by Pyro or Burning status.
Thundering Fury +15% Electro damage bonus +40% Overload, Electro-charged, and Superconduct; triggering these effects reduces Elemental Skill cooldown by 1 second.
Thundersoother +40% Electro resistance +35% damage vs. enemies affected by Electro.
Viridescent Venerer +15% Anemo damage bonus +60% Swirl effect damage; decreases elemental resistance to the element infused in the Swirl effect by 40% for 10 seconds.
Archaic Petra +15% Geo damage bonus +35% elemental damage bonus for a particular element when you pick up a crystal generated by Geo effects.
Retracing Bolide +35% shield effectiveness +40% normal and charged attack damage while under the protection of a shield.

In addition to these Artifact sets, there are also those which provide a 1-piece set bonus in Genshin Impact:

  • Prayers to Springtime – 40% reduction to the duration of Cryo effects.
  • Prayers for Illumination – 40% reduction to the duration of Pyro effects.
  • Prayers for Wisdom – 40% reduction to the duration of Electro effects.
  • Prayers for Destiny – 40% reduction to the duration of Hydro effects.
