Gearbox Confirms War Hero Titles

Gearbox Software has confirmed that it is working on a franchise titled “War Hero.”Speaking to Shacknews, Gearbox president Randy Pitchford said that the four War Hero trademarks that were recently filed – World War II Hero, War Hero, Brothers in Arms War Hero, and Modern War Hero – reveal “a bit about [Gearbox’s] interests in the development of another original intellectual property.”Pitchford confirmed that the franchise is “something down the road,” but added that Gearbox hasn’t “talked to any potential partners.””So we’re certainly not ready to talk about it publicly at the moment.”Gearbox is currently known to be working on RPG shooter Borderlands (of which we have a preview and an interview) as well as Aliens: Colonial Marines.
