Frostpunk Survival Mode update is now live

At the end of May, 11-Bit Studios revealed their roadmap for their wintery survival game Frostpunk and the first update has now gone live.

The Survival Mode update brings a few changes to how the game works if you’re up to the challenge. Players can pause the game only by opening a menu and there is no longer active pause. Your progress is only saved upon exit making all decisions final

The difficulty has also been ramped-up making it “more tough and demanding”. Should you manage to finish the game in this new mode there are new achievements as a reward. The video below takes you through changes.
