Frontier’s LostWinds platformers now on Steam

Previously available on Nintendo’s Wii, Frontier’s elemental-themed, LostWinds puzzle-platformers are now available on the PC through Steam. They’re $10 apiece (or $15 for the pair).

In the first game, young Toku wields “the awesome powers of Enril the wind spirit”, which can be used to power jumps and glide through the regions of Mistralis. Ultimately, Toku is trying to defeat evil spirit Balasar and lift the curse upon the land.

Then, in LostWinds 2: Winter of the Melodias, Toku is able to “transform Mistralis between Summer and Winter”. Frozen ponds can be uncovered for exploration, enemies chilled in place, and so on.
