Ubisoft will be giving co-op functionality to all Settlers 7 players in a forthcoming patch, while some £4.00 GBP DLC adds a few new maps.
The DLC doesn’t seem to be available in the US just yet, but British folks can purchase it from Ubisoft’s online store. Dubbed ‘The Two Kings,’ the DLC adds two multiplayer maps (Tower Island, Throne of Tandria) and a co-op map called The Forest Realm.
Just to be clear though, the patch to add co-op will be free. It’ll also update the current Settlers 7 maps with new features to make them co-op compatible.
This is a fine gesture by Ubisoft; but one which could be complemented still further by the removal of the horrible always-on DRM from the game.
