Fortnite Grapple Gun Weapon Tuning Update

Fortnite update adds the Grapple Glove and balances weapons

Swinging into action.

The launch of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 has started a huge party on the island and everyone is invited. The new season kicked off with new points of interest, new weapons added to the loot pool, and much more. Epic Games is continuing to keep the season fresh by adding a Grapple Glove to Fortnite. If you were a fan of the Spider-Man Web Shooters, you’re sure to love this new item. However, the Grapple Glove has its differences compared to the Web Shooters.

Similar to the Spider-Man Web Shooters, you shoot the Grapple Glove at a surface, such as a building, and you will be propelled into the air. With the Grapple Glove, each consecutive swing gets faster until the third swing. That’s when you hit the maximum speed. If you land on the ground, there is a short cool down before you can begin swinging again. Also, sliding out of a swing will allow you to slide much faster compared to a regular slide. That is not all, though, as the Grapple Glove can be used to pull items towards you by shooting the hook at them.

Fortnite weapons have undergone some tuning

Apart from adding Grapple Gloves, Epic Games recently balanced the Fortnite battlefield. The new Two-Shot shotgun now has increased pellet damage, minimum pellet count, accuracy, and a maximum damage cap. The recoil of the Hammer assault rifle has also seen a decrease. Sticking with assault rifles, the first-bullet recoil of the Striker Burst Rifle has been increased, while the damage has been reduced. Finally, the damage dealt by the Combat submachine gun has been decreased, as well.

Swinging into the action with the Grapple Glove is not the only way to travel around Fortnite. This season, you can take a ride on wolves and boars or hop inside a Baller.
