One aspect that is coming back eventually is planes, and we’re going to run over when these will return in Fortnite OG.

When Do Planes Return in Fortnite OG

Planes are not going to be introduced in Fortnite OG until the second week of the season, as Epic has outlined that they’re going to come alongside update 27.10.

Fortnite’s had some wacky vehicles appear in the game over the years, from the ATKs, shopping carts to planes, and all of these are once again going to be useable by players this season. Planes were originally introduced during Season 7, which was for the winter season during the holidays back in 2018; and thus, holds a special place in a lot of people’s hearts.

During this time, planes were a quick and easy way to get around the island, alongside an exceptional method to take down players who didn’t know what was coming for them!

While throughout Fortnite OG’s season, players are going to get to relive certain points in the history of the game, with it all cumulating to Season X, and the eventual season-ending event; there’s still a ton of content to look ahead to.

“Don’t just move, attack! Strike with the X-4 Stormwing of Sgt. Winter fame, and the Pirate Cannon that lets you launch your teammates.”

Planes were also seen in other seasons besides Season 7, as they remained in the game until the conclusion of Chapter 1, and players had mixed feelings when they were eventually removed, alongside all the other Chapter 1 vehicles.

Furthermore, these planes also offer some deadly weapons for players, as they’ll easily mow down builds and output significant damage to players.

So, be prepared for November 16, as this is when planes are going to return to Fortnite, and we’re going to get to check out the classic locations such as Frosty Flights and Lucky Landing.
