Raven Darkholme, better known as Mystique, is one of the two villains that feature in the Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 4 Battle Pass. Mystique’s challenges are more focused on dealing damage to, and eliminating enemy players. This contrasts the other villain, Doctor Doom, who’s challenges mostly required you to visit areas of the map. The Fortnite Mystique challenges will unlock various cosmetics, while allowing her to regain her powers.
To begin the Mystique challenges, equip the skin from your locker and queue into a match. The first challenge requires you to use a phone booth which are located all around the map. Moreover, the most prominent areas that contain phone booths are where henchmen are located. This is because the purpose of phone booths are to disguise yourself so the henchmen do not attack. Subsequently, there are a number of phone booths located in areas such as Doom’s Domain and Catty Corner.
The second task is perhaps the most difficult challenge, as it requires you to deal damage with pistols of different rarities. You can increase your chances of finding different pistol rarities by dropping into Team Rumble. Land in an area with plenty of loot, and spend your time searching for pistols before approaching enemies. Also, if you find an upgrade bench, you can deal damage and continue upgrading the pistol to progress. Another option is to gather a group of friends and ask them to find pistols of different rarities for you to use.
Deceive the enemy with Mystique
The third and final challenge requires you to emote after killing an enemy. Once you eliminate the player, all you have to do is use an emote from the wheel. Following this, you will notice Mystique transform into the skin of the enemy player. Although the effect only lasts for a short amount of time, it indicates the completion of the Fortnite Mystique challenges.
