Fortnite Battle Royale map update drops next week

The latest Fortnite developer update has dropped and the big news is there’s a map update coming next week.

New points of interest are being added including the city and some new named areas on the west side of the map. The new western locations have been added to “even the map out” with more locations for players to drop into on the west side.

Epic says they have separated the map into what they say are more clearly defined biomes making each area feel more unique.

In other news, the Christmas event loot is going when the event ends and there will be more treasure chests and ammo crates to balance that out.
