A Fortnite and Dragon Ball Z crossover could be coming soon

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 introduced new points of interest, a new biome, and added some new weapons into the mix. At the same time, crossovers have continued to feature heavily on the island. Already, we have seen Indiana Jones, who is available to unlock through the battle pass, and the integration of various Naruto cosmetics. Thanks to a new leak, we may have a glimpse at another crossover that could be in the works. Fresh details around a Fortnite and Dragon Ball Z crossover have now emerged.

Talk of a Dragon Ball Z crossover in Fortnite began last year. With the lack of details since, the crossover was assumed to be scrapped or forgotten about among fans. Now, a new item which was added to the game files suggests otherwise.

 

The biggest clue yet of a Fortnite and Dragon Ball Z crossover

The well-known Fortnite leaker Shiina shared the image of an item which looks like the Capsule Corporation logo from Dragon Ball Z. The image, on a Capsule Corp. capsule no less, appeared in the game files. The Capsule Corporation is a company in the show, and it was famous for creating a wide range of technology.

There is speculation that the leaked Fortnite and Dragon Ball Z crossover could launch in August. This is when the new Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie hits US and Canadian screens. It is unknown what the collaboration could entail. Likely, there will be an array of Dragon Ball Z skins and other cosmetics up for grabs. Perhaps, we could see limited-time events and challenges to celebrate.

Without any confirmation from Epic Games, we can’t be sure when Dragon Ball Z will arrive in Fortnite. That being said, we won’t have to wait long for an official announcement if the August window is correct. In the meantime, players have been completing Nindo challenges and trying out the new Charge submachine gun.
