Each year developer Sports Interactive releases an Early Access version of Football Manager. This beta is usually released around two weeks before the official launch to give players the opportunity to provide feedback. Following this tradition, Football Manager 2023 is now playable with the Early Access beta going live last night.
Despite being labeled a beta, those eligible get access to pretty much the entire game and all of its new features. To be eligible all you have to do is pre-purchase Football Manager 2023 before release. Those who pre-ordered before the beta began already have access, but you can still gain access by pre-ordering it now. You aren’t locked out just because the beta has started.
Access to the Football Manager 2023 beta will be granted as long as you purchase it from a participating retailer. These retailers are Steam, Epic Games, the Microsoft Store, and a variety of third-party sellers. Be wary that some unlisted third-party sellers won’t send out keys until the official launch. In this scenario, you will not be able to access the beta.
Providing feedback
In the beta, you’ll have access to all four of Football Manager‘s game modes. You can play a classic single-player save, go online and compete against your friends, try out the Fantasy Draft for a challenge, or go head-to-head in Versus Mode. However, Versus Mode is exclusive to FMFC members, so you’ll have to sign up on the official website. It’s free though, so you don’t worry about any additional costs.
As with any beta, the Football Manager 2023 Early Access beta exists to provide feedback. Sports Interactive is hoping that players will report any bugs they encounter to get the game in the best shape possible ahead of its release. To report any bugs you can either use the in-game report feature or post your bug on the Football Manager community forums.
