FNAF Into the Pit Night 3 guide: Fix the guitar, lure the rabbit out, and rescue Chip

Shred some tunes on the guitar.

Surviving two nights up against a deadly animatronic is no easy task. But if you want to find your dad, you must keep going back to the Pizzeria. So let’s escape the house and take a look at our FNAF Into the Pit night 3 guide.

FNAF Into the Pit Day 3: Go to school

After surviving the second night of horrors, you wake up and get ready for the second day of school. Head out of your house and go to school, where you have a bit of trouble concentrating due to your peculiar night activities. Your teacher Mrs. Meecham suggests you grab a book from the principal’s office while you stretch your legs.

Where to find the Principal’s keys

Make your way down the hallway to the Principal’s office, where she tells you that she may have misplaced her keys and enlists you to help her find them. Thankfully, there are not a lot of places to search, and if you walk back towards your classroom and instead enter the classroom north, you’ll find the keys on the far right side of the room.

Head back to the office and you can unlock the door and grab the book. Additionally, Oswald will grab the sticky hand that was once Dylan’s. Once school has come to an end, head back home and get ready for night 3.

We must once again evade Spring Bonnie and find a way out of the house and back to the pizzeria. If you haven’t noticed, whatever way you exited the house the previous night will now be locked, forcing you to find another way out.

I found it easiest to exit through Oswald’s window in his room by using the screwdriver. You should already have the screwdriver, thanks to our FNAF Into the Pit night 2 guide. If you happened to use that exit on night 2, you still have the option of using the front door, the attic window, or the basement window.

Once you’re out and about, head to the pizzeria and make a B-line straight for the ball pit.

How to find a way into the arcade

Once you jump into the pit and emerge in the past, you’ll hear some strange noises coming from the arcade and must investigate. Sadly, the entrance to the arcade is locked and we need to find a way in.

Navigate to the Party Hallway, keeping in mind that there is a telephone call with some lore in the Kitchen should you want to listen. But once you reach the hallway, you’ll notice a shiny light coming from the vent in the top right of the room on the far right side. This is where the sticky hand comes in HANDy (I know it’s bad).

Interact with the vent and select the sticky hand, allowing Oswald to open the vent and reveal the keys to the arcade. Enter the arcade and walk left until you trigger a cutscene showing Bonnie, who scares you out of the room. In order to help the kid, you need to get Bonnie out of there.

How to cause a distraction

Bonnie won’t be leaving the arcade unless we do something to lure them away. Consulting the notebook we got on day 2 reveals Bonnie’s guitar might be the key to our problems. Head backstage where the half-torn animatronics lie and you’ll notice an old guitar of Bonnie’s leaning in the middle of the room. Sadly, the strings have seen better days and if you want to play any tunes, we need new strings.

How to fix the guitar

Guitar strings aren’t something lying around the pat version of the pizzeria. For this task, you must venture back into the ball pit and head to The Mill. Here among the trash, you find a set of strings that Jeff threw out when he took over the pizza place. Once you grab the strings, your school bully Dylan pops out of nowhere and snaps a picture of you digging through the trash.

Ignoring him, we can head back to the pizzeria, jump in the ball pit, and head backstage. Fix the strings and get ready to lure the rabbit out.

How to lure the rabbit out

Now unless you want to explore the pizzeria, you thankfully won’t have to go far to lure Bonnie. I spent way too long wandering the entire pizzeria, only for the location to lure Bonnie to be on the main stage.

Head out of the backstage area and interact with the amp and guitar chord on the floor of the main stage. You’ll need to hit a few QTEs to get the sound just right, but as soon as you do you need to quickly find a place to hide. Simply head backstage again and this time head further back into the basement.

A cutscene will trigger, showing Oswald entering the vent and getting grabbed by Bonnie. After spamming your kick button, you’ll be transported to the Party Hallway via the vent. With Bonnie preoccupied, you can head back to the arcade and rescue Chip.

As it is with every night, once you find Chip Spring Bonnie will appear and force you to head back to the ball pit. This will complete night 3 of FNAF Into the Pit, and you’ll be ready to search for your dad tomorrow.
