The second night of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Into the Pit is where things start to pick up with more difficult puzzles and chase sequences. There are also a few important items to collect when exploring the Pizzeria as well.

How to find a way to escape
Night Two begins just like Night One. You need to escape Oswald’s House so you can get back to the Ball Pit at the Pizzeria. Thankfully, the same three escape routes are still available.
You can leave through the front door if you’re brave enough to evade Spring Bonnie, or you can use the Basement or Attic escape routes. The ladder and rope will still be set up from the previous night, so you can use the same escape route.
How to fix the lights
Once you travel back in time through the Ball Pit, the lights at the Pizzeria will go out. Use the Flashlight to help you get around and make your way Backstage to find the fuse box. Interact with the fuse box to get the lights back on and begin the night for real. Spring Bonnie will begin patrolling the Pizzeria at this point, so be prepared to hide.
Where to find the kid
A crying child can be heard after the lights come back on, so your next objective is to find them. Most of the doors in the Pizzeria are locked, but that won’t stop you from getting around.
Go all the way to the Entrance while avoiding Spring Bonnie and then use the Screwdriver to open the vent by the front door. There’s a Token on the ground here, too. You can use this vent as a hiding spot if you’re being chased, but the vent is also a means of transportation. Use the vent to travel to Storage. Grab the Photo of Oswald from the floor by the presents. This is an important item that you need to get the best ending.
Once you have that, go back to the Entrance via the vent and then head through the Dining Area to reach the Party Hallway. From there, head right into the Kitchen where the crying can be heard from. You’ll find Chica inside, and she’ll steal your Lunch Bag after a brief chase. Use the Ball Pit to head back to the present day and talk to Jeff so you can get some pizza to distract Chica.
While you’re at Jeff’s in the present day, you should visit the Arcade to collect the Space-Age Speakers. Go to the Party Hallway to get the Control Panel and visit Storage to collect the Electron Gun as well. These are all important items that can be used to repair the games in the Arcade.
How to cause a distraction
Pizza costs money and Oswald doesn’t have any, so you need to cause a distraction to steal a slice from the kitchen. Oswald’s best idea is a rat chase. You need a Rat Trap, and if you used our FNAF Into the Pit Night One guide, then you already have one. You can find a Rat Trap among the piles of trash at The Mill if you don’t have it.
With a Rat Trap in your inventory, use the Ball Pit to travel back to Freddy’s. If you’ve been paying attention, then you may remember seeing a huge rat in the Party Hallway where you first encountered Chica. Head over there and capture the creature with the crate. Place the Rat Trap in the top right corner of the room, exit the room for a second, and then come right back in to collect the Trapped Rat.
Use the Ball Pit to go back to Jeff’s with the Trapped Rat in hand. Go to the woman talking on the phone at the far left end of the Dining Area and then release the rat next to her. This will distract Jeff, giving you time to enter the Party Hallway and slip into the Kitchen to snag a Slice of Pizza. Make sure to investigate the sink at the far right end of the Kitchen to find a Battery before leaving, too.
How to lure the bird out
With the Slice of Pizza in your possession, use the Ball Pit to travel back to 1985 and return to the Party Hallway where you first met Chica. When you enter the Party Hallway, the lights will cut out.
Be brave, turn on your Flashlight, and continue to the left so you can place the Slice of Pizza in the empty box. Chica will march out of the Kitchen to collect it. This is your chance to get inside and find the kid.
There’s a Token on the floor of the Kitchen, but it can be hard to see with the lights out. Grab it and then investigate the cabinet on the right side of the room to find and rescue the kid. Now all that’s left to do is return to the Entrance. The southern door leading to the Dining Area was previously locked, but you can use it now.
When you enter the Dining Area, you’ll trigger Chica’s alarm state. She won’t chase you, but the alarm will max out your noise meter and attract Spring Bonnie to your location. Hide and wait it out before returning to the Entrance. There’s also a Token on the ground below Chica.
All important items in Night Two
Going to the entrance will trigger the final escape sequence, so make sure you grab all of these items before the night comes to a close.

- Control Panel: Party Hallway (Present Day)
- Battery: Kitchen (Present Day)
- Token: Entrance (1985)
