Sports Interactive has announced Football Manager 2010 for the PC and Mac will be released on 30 October.New features have been announced with a brand new match tactics system, a match analysis tool and a new user interface. The Tactics Creator will make it easier for you to interact with the team and tell each player individually exactly what you want them to do. Implemented with this is a brand new touchline shout feature which will allow you to change the teams’ play quickly mid-match.With the Match Analysis Tool you will be able to see exactly where both your players and the opposition attempted their shots, passes, crosses, headers, tackles, fouls and interceptions. The tool will be available both in live games and after the final whistle, allowing you to see exactly where your team is succeeding and failing. The new interface will support a dark and light skin, with the game featuring a complete navigational overhaul. The sidebar we have learned to love has been replaced with a tab system at the top of the screen, which Sports Interactive believes will make the game a lot easier to navigate.More animations, stadiums and crowds have been implemented into the 3D match engine which debuted last year. The promise of better pitch degradation and better lighting will make the game more realistic than previous years. The PSP version has also been announced. Football Manager Handheld 2010 will be available the same date as the PC/Mac version on 30 October.
