First Dragon Age 2 DLC Details Revealed

This article is over 14 years old and may contain outdated information

The game may not be out yet but that hasn’t stopped Bioware and EA in Germany revealing details of the game’s first pieice of DLC.
The DLC is going by the name of the ‘Exiled Prince’ and will include a new mission and a new Sebastian Vael companion according to the trailer released by EA. Gamers can get their hands on the DLC free if they pre-order the Signature Edition before 11 January. The DLC will cost 560 Microsoft Points if you decide to purchase it later.
The Exiled Prince introduces the archer character Sebastian Vael and players will join his him in the middle of his quest to avenge the brutal murder of his family. Players will have the choice to either avenge Sebastian’s murdered family to reclaim his title or direct his holy vengeance on their enemies in Kirkwall. Sebastian will also become a follower throughout a majority of Dragon Age II.
“Our goal for the Dragon Age II DLC is to extend Hawke’s journey and the Dragon Age universe by introducing additional characters with meaningful storylines and intense, dynamic missions,” said Mark Darrah, Executive Producer of Dragon Age II. “Not only will ’The Exiled Prince’ allow players to experience Sebastian’s powerful revenge story, but they will also be able to utilize him as a follower throughout Hawke’s rise to power in Dragon Age II.”
The trailer comes with German subtitles, which is handy if you’re in Germany, but the audio is in English. Please excuse Sebastian’s shocking Scottish accent, it’s quite amusing.
Dragon Age 2 will be hitting the shops on 11 March.
