Codemasters has lifted the lid on DiRT 3 by revealing some of the first details for the game.
Following on the from the weekend’s reveal via the first trailer for the game, the developer has now talked about what we can expect for the Rally based game.
According to the press release over 50 rally cars will feature in-game and the models will cover the last five decades of rally sport featuring some of the best vehicles to ever grace the sport.
Codemasters has promised DiRT 3 “will boast more cars, more locations, more routes and more events than any other game in the series,” and will feature over double the amount of tracks compared to its predecessor, the fantastic DiRT 2.
Gymkhana-style events will feature in the career mode as you are apart of a top rallying team and must continue to build your career through a variety of gruelling competitions.
DiRT 3 is scheduled for a 2011 release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
