Final Fantasy XV director wants to release it on PC

Final Fantasy XV

Final Fantasy XV didn’t make it to PC but the game’s director Hajime Tabata would like to see it.

In the latest issue of Famitsu they posed a few questions to Tabata, one of them specifically PC focused. When asked about other platforms, the PC was the hot topic with Tabata adding:

“I’d like to release the game on PC as a technical attempt. I want to show PC users Final Fantasy XV running on high-end machines, and we personally would like to see it, too. Also, I would like to try developing on PC to pursue a unique way of playing with PC-exclusive features like making your own quests and enjoying the world using things like mods.”

Whether a PC version will ever see the light of day remains to be seen but the fact he wants to see it as a “technical attempt” doesn’t sound to promising.

Thanks Gematsu.
