The Final Fantasy XV Benchmark tool that was released a few days ago is not performing exactly as intended according to Square.
In an update posted on Twitter, they acknowledge that there are issues with the tool that affect the benchmark scores. They also state that stuttering issues that appear in the tool will be addressed before the game launches. To conclude, they say that the tool will not “accurately reflect the game’s final performance.
With all that in mind, treat the tool as a way to check out the game’s visuals prior to launch and nothing more.
We wanted the benchmark tool to approximate the level of visual quality and performance you can expect from your PC environment when running FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION.
