Microsoft showcased a lot of new upcoming games for Xbox Game Pass at X019 today, and fans of the Final Fantasy series will be pleased to note that many of those titles will be making their way to PC in 2020. Take a look at the different titles that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass:
- Final Fantasy VII
- Final Fantasy VIII Remastered
- Final Fantasy IX
- Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
- Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age
- Final Fantasy XIII
- Final Fantasy XIII-2
- Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
- Final Fantasy XV
Get caught up on JRPG classics
If you’ve never played some of those games, it might be a good time to try them out. To sign up for Xbox Game Pass, head over to the website. Your first three months are only $1. It will be $4.99 a month after that. You can certainly finish some of the games in three months. That is unless, like me, you spend your entire playthrough of FFX playing Blitzball. Just don’t do that, and you’ll be all set. But then you’ll miss out on Blitzball.
If you aren’t too interested in the older titles, then you can play the massive FFXV. You control the equivalent of a leather-clad boy band, but you also get to fight gigantic monsters. It’s a lengthy game, but the graphics still stand up.
A growing Xbox Game Pass catalog
Xbox Game Pass will also get you access to other Microsoft games, like The Outer Worlds and Gears 5. Other available titles include Metro Exodus, Sea of Thieves, and Hollow Knight. At the very least, it’s worth a look to see what games you can play for such a small fee.
FF fans can also download the Final Fantasy Portal App on their phones for new trailers, developer commentary, and access to various in-game items.
