Square Enix has started accepting applications for the beta test of the upcoming MMO, Final Fantasy XIV.
Potential testers must be at least 18 years old, possess a Square Enix account, be able to download large amounts of data and be capable of submitting bug reports in either Japanese, English, French, or German.
Based solely on the content of the applications, individuals will be selected for the beta and contacted via email. If you don’t hear anything by the time the beta tests start, don’t give up hope because there are due to be several rounds of tester selection, with new people being added to the beta in stages. Once you get into the beta, you will be able to stay until the end.
Make sure your application is solid, because once you’ve submitted it, changes can not be made. Want to find out more? Visit the official FFXIV site for the FAQ, then fill out the application form. Good luck.
