Fifa 12 tops end of year charts, SWTOR plummets

Surely, it doth warm the heart of violence-in-entertainment protestors that EA Sports’ Fifa 12 out performed shooters Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 in final UK chart listings of 2011.
It’s the second year in a row tha Fifa has achieved the position. Fifa 12 also topped the UK Christmas Eve charts.
In a reversal of fortunes, EA/BioWare’s MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic dropped from eight in the chart on Christmas Eve to 38 on New Year’s Eve. However, it must be stressed that the charts do not certainly take into account digital sales.
