Fatshark has revealed that it is working on Krater, a top-down action-RPG based in post-apocalyptic Sweden. According to a developer video (below), the team want this to be a story base they can continually build from (so expect some DLC) and promise single, co-op and multiplayer modes.
The nice gentleman in the video goes on to say that the title will have three central pillars; crafting (you’ll be able to bodge together all kinds of things), exploration (there’s a main quest, but you can wander off and do your own thing instead) and choices (actions will have consequences, which is always good for an RPG).
2012 is the date being aimed for, and so far the game is only coming to PC. However, it doesn’t seem outside the realms of possibility to see it as an Xbox Live or PlayStation Network title in the future.
