There are quite a few mounts available in this creature-collecting game, but some are just faster than others. Here’s a ranking of the best flying and ground mounts.

Palworld: Fastest ground mounts, ranked

Your first mount will probably run on the ground. You can find some pretty early-game mounts that are great picks, but once you discover more Pal types, you’ll find quite the array of rapid rideable Pals.

S-tier ground mounts

  • Pyrin/Pyrin Noct
  • Paladius
  • Direhowl
  • Rayhound

Overall, Pyrin and its Fusion-type Pyrin Noct are probably the fastest ground mounts in Palworld. Once you unlock its saddle at Technology level 30, and gain a Pyrin, this should be the mount you go for most often. Otherwise, at a whopping Technology level 50, Paladius is another fast Pal.

During the early game, you should get yourself a Direhowl. These wolves know how to run since their Partner Skill makes them move faster than most mounts. We also have Rayhound on this list, which is another incredible ground mount that can run just a bit faster than a Direhowl.

A-tier ground mounts

  • Eikthyrdeer
  • Univolt
  • Fenglope
  • Rushoar

While these Pals aren’t as fast as the S-tier mounts, they can still get you from one place to another swiftly. The Eikthyrdeer is a great early-game mount choice and is easy to catch. Meanwhile, you have Univolt, who you can get a saddle for at Technology level 14.

I’d also put Fenglope up here as a solid A-tier ground mount, although it’s not as fast as some of the other Pals. Even if Rushoar is a pretty low-level Pal, I found it decently fast when sprinting and it served as a nice early-game mount.

B-tier ground mounts

  • Melpaca
  • Relaxaurus
  • Chillet

If you can’t get ahold of the S-tier or A-tier Pals, I’d settle for these three. Melpaca is easily catchable during the early game, and it is pretty common around the area you first spawn into.

Relaxaurus is another decent pick for a ground mount, alongside Chillet. You can find an Alpha Chillet near Rayne Syndicate Tower, and it’s only at level 11.

Palworld: Fastest flying mounts, ranked

Flying mounts are the best for exploration, and there are some speedy flyers in Palworld. There’s one solid pick for the fastest flying mount, but there are still some other incredible options.

Fastest Mounts In Palworld Best Flying And Ground Ranked Jetragon

S-tier flying mounts

  • Jetragon
  • Faleris
  • Frostallion/Frostallion Noct

Jetragon is by far the fastest flying mount in Palworld, there’s no competition here. The only issue is catching it, as it’s an Alpha and has a pretty low catch rate. Otherwise, you could always go for Faleris, yet they’re pretty rare to find as well.

The last S-tier flying mount has to be Frostallion, and its Dark-type Frostallion Noct. Both have incredible flight speeds, but they’re also difficult to catch, as they’re available much later in the game.

Fastest Mounts In Palworld Best Flying And Ground Ranked Suzaku

A-tier flying mounts

  • Beakon
  • Suzaku
  • Ragnahawk

Since the S-tier flyers are pretty difficult to find, A-tier may be easier for you. Beakon is a pretty swift flyer, available to mount at Technology level 34. A little higher in level than that is Suzaku, although I believe Beakon is just a little faster.

You could also go for Ragnahawk, available to catch around most of the volcanic region. Out of the three here, I’d put Ragnahawk in the number one spot for speed.

B-tier flying mounts

  • Quivern
  • Vanwyrm
  • Helzephyr
  • Nitewing

Finally, these are the flying mounts that you could go for, but they just aren’t as fast as the others on this list. Quivern is available to ride at Technology level 36, and out of these three mounts, it’s probably the better one.

Vanwyrm is a decent early-game pick for a fast flyer, ready to unlock by Technology level 21. By level 33, Helzephyr is also good to take as a mount, although still not as good as Quivern. Nitewing is another good option for an even earlier-game flyer, but the Vanwyrm beats it in speed.
