The Far Cry games have come a long way since their first releases. Far Cry 2 was a deathly serious title. While Far Cry 3 got a bit wackier, it still put players in some grim situations. Far Cry 6 is continuing the franchise’s wacky trend, placing the game in a war-torn nation in South America and pairing players with furious animal companions. One such ally is Chorizo, a small, two-legged wiener dog whom players can get a statue of if they pick up the Far Cry 6 collector’s edition.
Officially named the “Flags For Hire Collection,” the Far Cry 6Â Collector’s Edition comes with a bunch of extra schwag. Customers that pick up this bundle will get a bandana and tag for their own four-legged friend, two embroidery patches, a mini-metal plate, and an enamel pin. Customers will also be able to decorate their room with some primo Far Cry 6-themed gear, like postcards, prints, and a wall tapestry of the fictional country’s flag. Finally, the Far Cry 6Â Flags For Hire Collection will come with an adorable statue of Chorizo for your desk, trophy case, or wherever you keep prized possessions.
So far, the price and release date for the Far Cry 6Â Flags For Hire Collection have not been revealed.
What do we know about Far Cry 6?
Leading up to today’s Far Cry 6 gameplay reveal stream, very little is actually known about the game. We already know that it will take place in a South American country during a revolution. Beyond that, very little is known about the game. The game’s primary antagonist is Antón Castillo, the despotic ruler of this nation. Giancarlo Esposito did the modeling and voice acting for Castillo. Players may know Esposito as Gustavo Fring, the enigmatic cocaine magnate from Breaking Bad.
Far Cry 6Â is set to release sometime this year for the PC.
