Lethal Company has been performing incredibly well, and has become another indie hit. This has brought it to the attention of someone who wants to make it even scarier, by making it a VR game.
VR may be coming to Lethal Company
Lethal Company is already scary as it is, as is apparent from the many viral and hilarious videos of unsuspecting victims getting snatched up by creatures. The only way to make the game scarier, and therefore funnier, would be by converting it to VR.
This probably was never on the cards for the developer, Zeekerss, but DaXcess has taken it upon himself to make it happen. DaXcess, or Daniel, is a self-taught software engineer from Amsterdam with lots of coding experience, so we’re in good hands here.
DaXcess is creating a Lethal Company VR plugin, which will allow players to connect their VR headsets to immerse themselves into the many moons of the game. However, this is not finished, and will probably take a while for it to be fully functional.

This is apparent by the long to-do list that DaXess has created, and it’s subject to change and addition as the development journey continues. Until it’s done, all we can do is wait in excitement and imagine the sight of a Jester charging at you full speed in VR…
Naturally, this won’t be for everyone. If you’re easily frightened and are fearful of Lethal Company as-is, then you may want to give this a pass or watch streamers try to take it on. Communication will become more important than ever, and dying will become a whole new experience. I can’t even imagine being consumed by an Earth Leviathan or ripped to shreds by Eyeless Dogs in the confines of VR.
