Bethesda and Obsidian have released an impressive-sounding list of voice talent for the forthcoming Fallout: New Vegas, which includes several returning favourites and a host of new arrivals.

Ron Perlman will of course be reprising his role, because Fallout narrator …  Fallout narrator never changes. Michael Dorn (Worf, from the Next Generation) is also a nod to the past, as he’ll once again be lending his voice to intelligent super mutant Marcus – last heard from in Fallout 2, back in 1998. The final old Friend is also a new one; Matthew Perry (best known as Chandler Bing) will be playing “a smooth-talking, two faced gangster” named Benny.

Other names that have today been put to character voices include Zach Levi, Danny Trejo and Felicia Day who’ll be playing various recruitable companions. Kris Kristofferson will appear as a “grizzled soldier,” John Doman is trying on some laurels in anticipation of playing Caesar (the leader of one group of Vegas slavers) and you’ll have to work hard to find Rene Auberjonois as he’ll be “the enigmatic and reclusive” Mr House.

As rumoured, Wayne “Mr Las Vegas” Newton is confirmed to be the DJ for the Mojave Wasteland.
Now we just have to hope that, unlike Fallout 3, there was enough money left over to pay for more than two voice actors to play the rest of the cast.
