With Skyline Valley dropping into Fallout 76, you’re going to be able to do a whole lot of things, such as public events. One is called Neurological Warfare, and this guide will show you how to start and complete the event in Fallout 76.
How to start and complete the Neurological Warfare event in Fallout 76 – Guide
Similar to earning the Swimming Badge for the Spruce Knob Lake Tadpoles Swimming Test, there’s a lot you need to do before to get into the storm. Like other public events in other games, this one won’t happen randomly, you’ll need to trigger it. This requires a few things that need to be done first.Â
To start, you need to find the Hawksbill Weather Station. It should be south in the new area and is in the area that is dedicated to the Skyline Valley Expansion. If you’re having a hard time locating this POI, just use the image below. However, it might be the first thing you discover upon entering this area.Â
Next, you’re going to have to drop a nuke on the POI. However, if you don’t know how to drop a nuke, you have to play the main storyline of the base game of Fallout 76 first, otherwise, you can’t participate in the event. Assuming you know how to do this, use the silo and enter the code provided for the Targeting Computer. After, you can select the Hawksbill Weather Station and drop the nuke on it.
This completes the first part.
How to complete the Neurological Warfare event
When you drop the nuke, the event will show up in the area you’re in. From there, make your way to Hawksbill Weather Station, and prepare for a tough fight. When you enter the POI, you’ll see a bowl-like structure which is where your battle will be held. Instead of fighting normal enemies, you’re going to go up against three Storm Goliaths, which are new to the Skyline Valley expansion. Each is different, but if you have a weapon like the Gauss Minigun, you could defend yourself better.
It’s worth participating in the event because of the rewards you might end up with. They are as follows.
- Vault 63 Olga Laser Rifle
- Vault 63 Helga Gatlin Laser
- Vault 63 Zia Hang ER Two-Hander
- Anchorage Ace 10mm SMG
Are you having trouble completing the Calm Before quest in Fallout 76? Well, it might be your fault.
