Following a day of teasing, Bethesda has announced their latest Fallout game and it’s called Fallout 76. More details are expected at E3 but there is a teaser trailer for now and a lot of speculation.
There are mutterings from Kotaku that this is not what Fallout fans would expect, not a traditional single-player Fallout RPG. So what is it? A management game? an online shooter? God forbid another battle royale? A clue could be in the trailer dialogue where it says ” When the fighting is stopped, you must rebuild”. It also says, “In Vault 76, our future begins”. This does sound like some sort of building/management game and perhaps takes the Fallout Shelter concept one stage further.
For now, all we can say is tune in to the Bethesda E3 showcase on 10 June at 6:30PM PT to find out what it’s about.
