Fallout 4 Automatron DLC coming 22 March

The first piece of Fallout 4 DLC called the Automatron will release for the PC on 22 March priced £7.99. This is the first of three DLCs planned for 2016.

A mysterious Mechanist has unleashed a horde of evil robots into the Commonwealth which gives players the opportunity to hunt them down and harvest their parts to create custom robot companions. Players will be able to mix  limbs, armour, abilities, and weapons on their companions and there’s a new lightning chain gun top play with . Robots can also be customised further with paint schemes and there’s a choice of voices to make your companion complete.

April will see the release of the next DLC which will focus on expanding the capabilities of settlements with Wasteland Workshop. In May the Far Harbor DLC arrives with the largest landmass Bethesda say they has ever created for post-release DLC content which is intriguing.

There’s plenty to look forward to this year and hopefully more will be announced later this year. Here’s your new Automatron trailer to get the DLC hype rolling which features the lightning chain gun and other weird and wonderful looking robots. The Mechanist himself doesn’t exactly look too sinister though.
