The post-apocalyptic MMO Fallen Earth will receive a big boost to its graphics, developers announced today.
The update consists of several enhancements to the environment including wilderness scrub, grass, terrain and fog. Colours and textures will also be overhauled, adding to player immersion, say the game’s developers.
“The environment in Fallen Earth adds so much to the players’ experience,” said Chris Deavellar, art director for Fallen Earth. “We want to capture the mood of the post-apocalyptic world and the improvements certainly enhance the appearance and atmosphere of the game.”
As a result of the changes, players should notice much more volume and colour to the landscape features. Take a look at some comparison shots below, which were released along with the news.
