Fae Farm: How to get fertilizer for ‘Fae Farming Evolved’

Grow, grow, grow!

There is farming in Fae Farm, so unsurprisingly, there is also going to be fertilizer at some point. Jeremiah will tell you all about fertilizer, but his simple instructions aren’t exactly as clear as he may think they are. Here’s how to use fertilizer for ‘Fae Farming Evolved’ in Fae Farm.

How to buy or make fertilizer in Fae Farm

When Jeremiah introduces you to fertilizer, you would be forgiven for assuming he gave you a free single fertilizer based on the dialogue. Alas, you don’t get any free fertilizer from him. You have to buy or make it yourself.

To buy fertilizer, speak to Holly in the Town Center market on the right side. The Bounteous Fertilizer you need is 35 Gold Florins. You have to be at farming level 3 in order to buy it. Do some more seed planting first if you’re not there yet. If you want to make it yourself, you first need a Garden Bench. A Garden Bench needs three oak lumber (or 30 oak logs), 15 clay, and 15 silt. You need the lumber crafting station for the oak lumber, and ideally, a copper axe for chopping all of that oak.

The game definitely wants you to buy it, however. Not only is it far more arduous of a process to make the fertilizer, but you may not even have discovered all the materials needed for it yet at this point of the game unless you come back to it much later. And usually, these side quests only intend to take a short while to complete.

Either way, once you’ve got the fertilizer, click on a growing plant to bring up the fertilizer menu, then click again. Now return to Jeremiah to complete the quest, and you are good to fertilize however you wish going forward.
