PC gamers who were looking forward to trying out the PC demo of Lionhead’s Fable 3 are going to be disappointed.
Originally posted by Major Nelson as being released next week, the Major’s site has once again been updated with a note to say the demo will not be released on 17 May as was reported. The update on the blog simply states that the PC demo is ‘no longer scheduled’.
IncGamers got in touch with Lionhead to find out what exactly happened and the official line is that there was never a PC demo planned for release and that there’s been some misunderstanding along the way.
There you have it, there never was going to be a PC demo. PC gamers will have to get to the shops and buy the game if they want to play it.
If you want to find out more about the PC version before release, check out John’s recent interview.
